Job Title - Healthcare Documentation Principal Analyst (Quality Analyst )
 
Job Responsibilities • To be associated with the Quality Analyst team.
• To edit and proofreading medical transcription transcripts involving listening and reading to the corresponding medical dictation with of various dictation styles,   accents, and dialects.
• Recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation; appropriately edit, revise and clarify them transcripts without   altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the dictator's style.
• Responsible for making changes to grammar, punctuation, format, ensuring consistency, and clarity of meaning, adhering to the AAMT book of Style, or client   preference as required.
• Checking medical terminology, anatomy, and medical reference usage.
• To transcribe/QA edit documents as per the transcription/QA methodology followed by the company.
• Should verify patient demographics for accuracy and completeness as per standards listed in the client information.
• Use electronic references and other resources for research appropriately and efficiently to facilitate 100% accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports.
• Adhere to rules governing patient confidentiality at all times: Understand and comply with policies and procedures related to medico-legal matters, including   confidentiality of medical records, amendments of medical records, release of information, the patients' rights and hospital and employee liability.
• Mentor HDA’s at vendor sites: Provide online support to HDA s regarding doubts/queries raised and solve problems associated with accurate transcription and   formatting.  Travel to vendor sites to address quality issues as and when required to support, Vendor Relations, and Quality Assurance for the same. Develop   methods in order to improve the productivity and accuracy of the HDAs.
• Organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands, turnaround time requirements, and commitments.
• Demonstrate an understanding of policies, procedures, and priorities, seeking clarification as needed.
• Expand job-related knowledge and skills to improve performance and adjust to change. Participate in continuing education activities.  Document new and revised   terminology, definitions, styles, and practices for reference, and application. Update the Production Centers with the above-collected databases on a periodic basis   and also share knowledge with colleagues.
• Use and resolving problems.  Participate in a positive and cooperative manner during staff meetings. Handle difficult and sensitive situations tactfully.
• Assist with training of new employees as needed.
• Attend feedback/training sessions as and when required by the management.

• Need to process 120 minutes of dictation with an accuracy of 98% meet set targets with an accuracy of 99.5.
